Kumar Paudel, MBBS (MD), from Nepal is the founder of the Red Pearl Society, a humanitarian organization offering free healthcare to the underprivileged community of Nepal. He is also working as the medical coordinator of another Nepal organization, Shanti Leprahilfe/Shanti Sewa Griha. Dr Paudel has worked as assistant medical coordinator for Doctors Without Borders during the Nepal 2015 earthquake for 8 months. He has extensive experience as a physician in emergency and rehabilitation medicine. As a GoDoc team member, he recently provided medical support on a WASH project in the remote Koshi district of Nepal. Dr. Paudel has received specialized training in spinal cord rehabilitation injury, leprosy and mental retardation patients. His published research on non communicable diseases has appeared in several international journals.
