Bruce Randolph Tizes, MD, JD, MPH is a graduate of Northwestern Pritzker School of Law (JD), the Chicago Medical School (MD) and Yale School of Medicine | School of Public Health (MPH). TIzes served as Lead Editor for the Yale Journal of Health Policy, Law, and Ethics, and has worked in medicine for more than thirty years. He was recently Medical Director, Indian Health Service, Tribal Emergency Medicine, caring for the Oglala Lakota on the Pine Ridge Reservation, and presently works with the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. Tizes serves as Mentor-in-Residence at the University of Auckland Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (UK) and the Edmund Hillary Fellowship (New Zealand) for global social impact.
