Nurse Emily has been a Med/Surg/ICU Step-down float nurse for 8 years at a busy hospital in Manhattan, NY. She is also currently the Clinic Coordinator for a non-profit that works in the Kibera Slum in Nairobi, Kenya. Her love for humanitarian nursing has led her all around the world including Haiti, Nicaragua, Tanzania, and Kenya. She was part of the first civilian medical response team to respond to Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico in 2017.

Her most recent mission with Global Outreach Doctors was aboard the USNS Comfort, where she volunteered as a civilian nurse aboard the Navy hospital ship in Central and South America to help with the Venezuelan refugee crisis.
